The history of essential oils is intertwined with the history of herbal medicine, which in turn has been an integral part of magical practices. Herbal medicine has been used for more than treating minor ailments and disease; it has been instrumental in providing life-enhancing benefits.

When you find yourself feeling imbalanced – meaning you may feel super tired, run down, stressed, or even unmotivated and your head feels cloudy. You could also suffer from anxiety or even be a very argumentative person, firing up for not much.

Which one is best for you:-  Remember if you are feeling a specific way,

it is possible that you need the opposite to balance you out. Essential oils enter the body primarily in three ways—applied to the skin, inhaled, or ingested. Within each of these, there are many different kinds of application methods. For example, you can apply essential oils topically using compresses, sprays, baths, or massaging them into the skin.

The chosen application method depends on the desired effect and the essential oil selected. Some essential oils can be irritating to the skin and these will need more dilution or might better be used by inhalation.

Once you have purchased an essential oil, the application method depends on the condition to be treated and the desired effect. Some tips:

  1. Wound care most often involves topical applications.
  2. Mood effects might be addressed by either inhalation or topical application. For fast action, inhalation might be preferred.
  3. Baths involve both inhalation and topical absorption.
